Whitstable Harbour Day

Celebrating Coast, Community & Craft.

Whitstable Harbour Day returned in August 2025 for the first time in a few years and was a great success and, this year, we are building on the 2025 show to offer a bigger, better and more inclusive event for everyone.

If you would like to take part, help with or come to the 2026 Whitstable Harbour Day, bookmark this page for the latest information.

About Whitstable Harbour day

Whitstable Harbour Day is a celebration of our town’s maritime heritage, local talent and vibrant coastal culture. Visitors can look forward to a bustling harbour packed with stalls, demonstrations and displays from local makers, charities and maritime organisations. Expect traditional boats, coastal crafts, live performances and plenty of opportunities to learn about Whitstable’s rich seafaring history. Whether you’re here for the food, the music, the boats or simply the buzz of the harbour, there will be something for everyone.

Entry is free and the event is designed to bring the whole community together – from long‑time residents to first‑time visitors – all are welcome.

Accessibility

Whitstable Harbour Day is a day for everyone, whatever their ability and we work hard to ensure that the day can be enjoyed by all. We will shortly be publishing an accessibility guide to the event. Watch this space for more information.
